Gillian

Yoga

Having practised yoga for as long as she can remember, Gillian first discovered her love for movement through online classes as a teenager. What began as a simple way to move her body soon became a lifelong practice, offering strength, confidence and a deeper connection to herself.

Originally qualifying with a degree in Interior Design and Architecture, creativity has always been at the heart of everything she does. Drawn to the way yoga blends movement, mindfulness and self-expression, she completed her Yoga Teacher Training in 2025, specialising in Vinyasa, Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga. While teaching was never part of the original plan, it quickly became a natural next step and a passion she couldn't ignore.

Her classes are welcoming, challenging and thoughtfully structured, with a focus on building strength, mobility and confidence both on and off the mat. Expect fluid sequences, mindful movement and a peak pose to work towards, offering an opportunity to explore what your body is capable of while always honouring where you're at in your own practice.

When she's not teaching, you'll likely find her planning her wedding, spending time with her toy poodle, out for a run, or immersed in a creative project. She loves painting, baking, home interiors and anything that brings people together.

For Gillian, yoga is about showing up exactly as you are. She believes that growth happens when we let go of expectations, trust the process and give ourselves permission to simply begin. Her goal is to help students feel stronger, more connected and more confident every time they step onto the mat.
